Eight days in, Elizabeth joins daddy for his traditional birthday ski trip.
We called a few of the local uncles and ditched work for a Navajo trip.
With Mom along we were able to keep her out of the sun and monitor all vital signs.

The water was nice and flat. Libby was the perferct baby.
I am pretty sure she liked it. She is invited on the next voyage.

Greer had her weekly checkup today, and I thought we were going to have a baby in July.
Libby is sitting breach. Her heart rate was slow and they were concerned that she didn't have enough amniotic fluid.
So when Greer called me from the doctor's office/hospital, I packed up all the bags and rushed down for the 11AM Ultrasound.
It was very exciting, but by the time I got there. They had calmed about most of the issues and the ultrasound showed a healthy baby, 1 week ahead of normal growth. She has a big head and long femurs. Probably both my fault.
Delivery date is still set for August 21, but now the Ceasarian is mandatory and will hopefully be partially covered by my insurance.
While we were there, our doctor went upstairs to deliver the baby boy of my old roommate Carol Komie. We went up and visited Carol who gave us the full detailed rundown on Ceasareans from a first person perspective. Aint small town life grand?
